For my second art challenge I did the 2D project. Since I love snow I
decided to do it over snow. But I lost any pictures or progress that
I had from the iPad update. So i started out with blue in the
background, and that reminds me of the blue sky. Then I made it swirly
all around with little brush strokes. Then I found a picture of a
snowflake that I wanted to do and started sketching it out with a
pencil. Then I got white paint and started to paint it. Then I added
the words "Let it snow". Once I finished that I added a circle around
the snowflake. I added the circle because I did the blue background a
day before and it was too dark around the snowflake because because I
was very careful to not get the snowflake blue. So I also added a
mixture of white and blue around the snowflake. To finish the project
off I put little white dots in the words let and it. It made it look a
little more seasonal and happy. I enjoyed doing this project along
with my last project. This picture I painted is on the outside of the
door leading into my house. I really liked how it turned out.
